Ascent Health is an outpatient addiction treatment provider in Lakewood, Colorado offering evidence-based care for opioid and other substance use disorders, including medication assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and supportive services.
We provide individualized outpatient services including:
• Comprehensive Outpatient Program – structured group and individual sessions to build recovery skills.
• Supportive Outpatient Programming (SOP) – a step-down program after completing the Comprehensive Outpatient Program, to help maintain long-term recovery.
• Medication management and supportive therapy to address both addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns.
MAT combines FDA-approved medications like Buprenorphine and Naloxone with supportive therapy to help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, making recovery safer and more comfortable.
Yes. Ascent Health provides telehealth options via Zoom or phone call for individual appointments, and via Zoom for group sessions, so patients can continue care from home while balancing work or other responsibilities.
The length of treatment varies by individual need, but most clients complete the Comprehensive Outpatient Program in about six weeks before transitioning to Supportive Outpatient Programming. SOP typically lasts around 13 weeks, though it can be adjusted based on progress toward treatment goals.
Outpatient treatment is generally best for adults who have a safe home environment and do not require 24/7 supervision. If someone lives in an environment with active substance misuse, a higher level of care may be recommended.
Yes. Ascent Health accepts most insurance plans and services are often covered at little to no cost. We accept all patients regardless of financial situation or ability to pay for services.
